Penn Bioinformatics Forum

The Penn Bioinformatics Forum (formerly Philadelphia Bioinformatics Forum) is a monthly seminar series whose purpose is to provide the opportunity for people involved in bioinformatics in the greater Philadelphia region to learn about recent advances in the different areas of this field from experts coming from academia as well as industry.

Time and Location

We invite a speaker every month during the fall and spring semesters (from September to May next year). The regular time for PBF is Wednesdays 4:30pm (15-minute reception followed by an hour-long lecture). Please come back and check our website for announcements for upcoming speakers or subscribe to our e-mail announcements.

The lecture usually takes place at Biomedical Research Building (BRB II/III) Auditorium or Clinical Research Building (CRB) Austrian Auditorium (see map for details). Please see each lecture's announcement for details.
