CAGR: Computational Analysis of Gene Regulation

Research: Our general interests are in algorithms for computational biology. The two specific areas of interest are 1) Transcriptional regulation – deciphering transcriptional factor binding sites, their evolution, and interactions in transcriptional networks, and 2) Genome rearrangements – combinatorial problems, understanding rearrangement hotspots and effect on gene family expansion and gene regulation.
